![]() If you want to get more dealerships to sell your vehicles, you build a larger branch. With that in mind, there is no "oversized" or "undersized" when it comes to branches. Likewise, the more dealerships that sign up, the more sales you can expect. The larger the branch, the more dealerships that will sign up over a period of decades. The size of the branch is proportional to the number of dealerships that sign up with your marques. Manufacturers sell vehicles to dealerships, not the general public. Dealerships in the game (and for the most part in real life) are franchised companies not owned by the manufacturer.Ī branch is where dealerships get their vehicles from. There are no player controlled dealerships in the game. I believe you misunderstand what a "Branch" is. When growth beings post 1946 how can i determine if I missing sales due to missing dealerships size? Not hard to figure out many vehicle sales would be needed to justify. The smallest dealership has a set cost and and about 18 sales people. A report would benefit newer players and experienced ones.Īlso I needed advise about dealership sizing, mainly growth. As I stated previously, through general game-play experience I have general idea how market change over-time. Being able to see at a glance where to expand/shrink branches would be great. From a player's perspective, very click intensive. From the developers perspective, it easy to recognize given the year where to sell cars since the developer wrote the code. The event log for the game is very well written and takes historic global conditions year by year and how it impacted the auto industry. I understand from the map mode you can obtain some of the values above by viewing competition and the graphs available on a city by city basis. ![]() The city report would include for every city the following: status (Stable, War etc), last month total vehicle sale number (all companies), number of companies present, average vehicle sales price last month and finally a value to show if the players branch is under/over sized if present. I have learned once WW II is over, demand for cars world-wide begins to have real growth.įrom a player's perspective, I think adding a cities report is the most needed improvement in the game and would make the game more enjoyable and less taxing on the player. Also have a fair understanding of demand by market (city) during early years. ![]() Cheap cost is the biggest factor to consider early on. I have a pretty good grasp of how to build components-vehicles that sell well in the early stages of the game.
